Ok, I Lied

I promised to fix up my blog.
And I didn't.
But it wasn't on purpose.
It was more like I didn't have time.
So, it was just an oversight.
I'll get to it eventually - I hope.

So, Turkey Day was Grreeat!
Lots of yummy food.
Good company. Good Times.

Daddy bought me Photoshop Elements 5.0.
Um, can I just say, WOW!
So incredibly complex.
Need to take a week off from work just to study its features.

Random thought:
It snowed in Tahoe this weekend.
It's currenty snowing in Washington.
It's been snowing in Colorado forever now.
And it is 60 freaking degrees here.
I need SNOW. I need POWDER.
No Snow = One Sad Snowboarder
Denver can't come soon enough!!

My Blog Needs Help

The first step is always admitting you have a problem.
So here goes.
My blog needs help.
It needs some color.
It needs a banner.
It needs more pictures.
It needs some links.
It needs to be personalized.
It needs more scrappies.

Hopefully, I'll be able to fix the problem this weekend.

News

I can't believe Turkey Day is tomorrow. Seriously, where did November go?

Nintendo Geek talk:

Good news: I bought Mario Kart yesterday.
Bad News: Couldn't play it without the right controller.
More Bad News: The controller is sold out everywhere!!
Good News: The Target at Potomac Mills just received a shipment.
Bad News: It is way far away from where I am.
Good News: Erika is picking it up for me on her way home from school.
Even Better News: Erika comes home for the entire weekend!!!

To sumarize: I am a Nintendo Geek, who is excited about Turky Day and hanging out with my family. Funny how I used to hate being at home, and now there is no place I'd rather be!

More Bloggers!

In honor of Daniela also becoming a Blogger, which by the way makes me want to jump for joy (on a trampoline of course), I have decided to post this absolutely hilarious picture. I have no idea what it says, but I need not know because the face speaks for itself. Bwahahahah! Daniela, keep on rocking on with your badass polka dot, conga dancing self!

Guilty Pleasures

Remember Snood? The oh-so-wonderfully addicting game of Snood. Remember the college days when everything revolved around Snood? First study, then Snood. I might have to download it again, for good times sake. But beware: if I don't blog for a while, you will know where to find me.

Here is a secret. I love that new show Rob and Big. Freaking laugh out loud hilarious! Who would have thought that a skinny little punk dude and his big fatty body guard could bring this girl so much laughter. Loving every minute of it. If only I could watch Big falling on the skateboarding ramp again....Am I mean because I laugh when people fall.

Erika's brand new blog. Fantastic! Suberb! Entertaining! 5 Stars! Check it out!

Nintendo Wii. Ok, so I don't have it yet. But I already know I'm going to be strangely addicted to it. I'm going to have to karate kick some people on Sunday to get my hands on it, but it will all be worth it. And did you know you can download the old skool games to the console? I'm going to have to quit my job to be a SAHG (Stay At Home Gamer).

Being at work an not working. Ha. I must admit... I do this often. What could be more fun than just surfing blogs and random websites while being at work. Talk about helping the day go by faster.

That's enough for now. Now its time to "work."

It's only Tuesday...

I feel like this is going to be the longest week ever! At least next week is a short week right?

Ok, so I had quite an eventful weekend. Saw some of my old skool sorority sisters (yes, I was one of THOSE girls) on Friday. That was way fun!! Then, went to Arlington with my girl Sarah from Wisconsin. Good Times! Then Saturday I hungout with this guy...
How awesome is that!! I haven't seen Kyle in years. So, it was great to catch up with him. He's such a cool cat. Him and Matty chatted it up all night too which made me happy. Oh and I also bought an adorable shirt from Urban...very pleased with my purchase. New clothes make me all giddy inside!

Then Sunday, I went to the parental's home and ate some yummy salteñas. Mmm, Mmm, Gooood! Salteñas are a Bolivian food. Here is a picture of them in case you have no idea. Try them out if you get a chance. So freaking yummy!Speaking of Bolivia...in exactly one month from today, I will be on an airplane on my way there. AND...my cousin's are already planning several mini-trips and I can't wait. I can finally put my Nikon D80 to the test. Can't wait to go picture happy!

Last but not least. I killed this really strange bug at my parent's house. I felt compelled to take a picture of it. And I like how it turned out. Poor buggy. But that's what he got for trespassing =)

It's FRIDAY!

And I'm here at work, with a stomach ache, wishing I were in bed instead. Sigh.

But, on a good note, I have fun plans for tonight with some friends I haven't seen in a while. So yay to that!

And, I worked out this morning before work. A mini-workout, but at least it was a workout.

And, I did HH with my good friend Whodes on Wednesday, which was spectacular, to say the least. Love that girl. No, seriously, she's the greatest. Loved our conversation. Love her to pieces.

And, did dinner with Elizabeth and Dan on Wednesday. Let's just say it was a jam-packed super fun Wednesday. Love those two. They're adorable. Matty introduced them to some different kinds of Thai - they loved it, we loved it, lots of loving it going on. They might come to Denver with Matty and I - how great would that be?!?!?!

I'll leave you with a silly picture of my Matty...Happy Friday!!

Russia LOs

I am so happy to finally be posting some scrappies...all for my Russia Scrapbook. What do you think? This one should read "Toss A Kopeck for Good Luck" The "A" must have fallen off before I scanned it. My bad. I'll have to do a search for the missing piece when I get home tonight. Oh and for those of you who don't know a "kopeck" is a Russian penny.

And here are two random pics from Russia that make me smile...

55 and 103

55 is the number of hours I worked last week. For some, that might not sound like a lot. But I'm used to working 35-40 hour weeks. And due to tight deadlines, I ended up working 14 hours just on Thursday. I was miserable. But needless to say, I finished everything I had to do, and hopefully I can slack off a little this week.

103 was my (inaccurate) weight this morning. I worked out all weekend and was feeling like I wanted to weigh-in. You could imagine my shock to see 103 on the scale. Haven't seen a number like that since early college. When I saw it I was feeling way too happy to feel skeptical. But, then I went and ate a banana for breakfast and weighed-in again only to be sad to see my usual 111. So either, the early morning reading was wrong or I just gained 8 pounds from a banana. Haha.

Did some scrappies this weekend. Just one page, but its better than nutin! Now, if only I had scanned it then I could show you but you'll just have to wait. I promise i'll post them tonight. Promise.

5 Random Things

YAY, Blogger finally let me post this picture! This is Steph and her baby boy Jackson. Isn't he a cutie? She looks so happy, doesn't she? I know I already said this, but I had soooo much fun hanging out with her on Sunday. Sometimes you don't realize how much you miss someone in your life until your hangout with them again and realize how strong your connection is. So happy we reunited and that we are keeping in touch again.

Ok, enough sappy stuff.

Here are 5 Random things about me...

1. I hate showering in the winter. Especially in the morning. I just get way too cold. (But don't worry, I still do it)

2. I haven't shaved my armpits in over 3 years. Haha, ok, before you get grossed out, I guess I should tell you that I wax them. For those of you who haven't tried this, I highly recommend it. Lasts way longer and is much better in my opinion.

3. When I was little, I dreamed of being a backup dancer in MTV music videos. Yeah, that never happened but I'd be lying if I said I still didn't think about it every once in a while.

4. Yesterday at work, I colored a Frankenstein with Crayons, for a Halloween contest my company had. I really felt like I was 5 years old again. I can't remember the last time I used Crayons. Awesome feeling!

5. I think about Spain every single day of my life. I miss living there and I want to go back. Sigh.
